Minimum Hardware Requirements

The Minimum Hardware Requirements outlines the hardware requirements that clients must meet to ensure compliance with PCe Solutions’ support standards. By adhering to these standards, clients can optimize their system performance, enhance compatibility, and ensure a seamless support experience.

Hardware Requirements

The following hardware components and specifications are considered the minimum standard for systems supported by PCe Solutions:

2.1. Desktop/Laptop Computers

Processor: Modern Intel i5
Memory (RAM): 16 GB
Storage: 256 GB SSD
Operating System: Windows Pro Edition OS within Support Life Cycle
Network Interface: Wired: Gigabit Ethernet NIC; Wireless: Minimum AC WiFi card

2.2. Servers

CPU: Xeon 2.0GHz
Memory: 32GB
Storage: 10k SAS RAID 10 (Subject to Review based on performance)
Network Interface: Dual Gigabit NIC, iDRAC/iLO Enterprise

Network Equipment

Firewall: Business grade firewall, gigabit interfaces, with valid support contract
Switches: Business grade switches with minimum gigabit interfaces
Wireless APs: Business grade controller based Wireless Access Points
WiFi Standard: WiFi 5 minimum
Routers, Switches, Firewalls: [Minimum specifications, models, or manufacturers supported]

2.4. Printers and Peripherals

Printers/Scanners: Network Based Printer with Scan to SMB functionality.

Exceptions and Upgrades

While this establishes the minimum hardware standard, PCe Solutions recognizes that some clients may have unique requirements or existing hardware that may not meet these standards. In such cases, exceptions or upgrades may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of PCe Solutions.

Compliance and Support

Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Minimum Hardware Requirements as outlined. Non-compliant hardware may result in limitations on support services provided by PCe Solutions. It is recommended that clients review and update their hardware periodically to meet evolving technology requirements and optimize system performance.
